Product Description
Bona ClearSeal is a non-pigmented waterborne sealer designed to provide clean adhesion and uniform build without altering color intentionally. Because it contains no white or amber pigment, it allows the wood to darken slightly—similar to the natural effect of water on raw wood.
ClearSeal is often chosen when the goal is maximum simplicity and predictability, especially under clear or lightly tinted topcoats.
Dustin’s Notes:
ClearSeal contains zero pigment, so expect a slight natural darkening of the wood. If you’re trying to preserve a freshly sanded look, NaturalSeal is usually the better choice.
