Product Overview

Berger-Seidle Abraprime 5″ discs use an advanced engineered ceramic grain designed to solve two persistent problems in multi-disc sanding: inconsistent scratch patterns and short abrasive life.

Instead of dulling quickly, the ceramic grain fractures in a controlled way, constantly exposing fresh cutting edges. The result is a disc that stays sharp longer, cuts evenly across all heads, and produces a more uniform surface—especially important when running HydraSand systems where variation between discs shows up immediately in the floor.

The no-hole hook & loop backing allows full contact with the pad, maximizing cutting efficiency and reducing premature wear.

This disc built a quiet cult following before it was easy to get in the U.S.—guys were importing it themselves because nothing else behaved this predictably on multi-disc machines. On HydraSand, the biggest difference you’ll notice is how even the scratch looks across the whole floor, not just under one head. It also avoids the common mistake of chasing cut speed at the expense of cleanup later.
