KEY VALUE BULLETS

•Over-clocked zircon grain placement technology delivers the longest belt life on the market on any finish

•Cuts fast, stays sharp, and maintains performance far longer than ceramic belts

•Often outperforms even high-end ceramic belts on prefinished flooring

•Aggressive enough for first-cut sanding, yet controlled enough for production work

•Heavy-duty backing and waved seam construction reduce heat, chatter, and premature failure

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Abraprime belts are engineered with advanced over-clocked zircon grain placement technology, allowing the abrasive to stay active and cutting long after other belts have gone dull. Instead of glazing over or falling off abruptly, the grain fractures in a controlled, uniform way, delivering exceptional belt life across any finish — from raw hardwood to the hardest factory aluminum-oxide coatings.

This is where Abraprime separates itself from standard zircon and even ceramic abrasives. While ceramic belts are known for aggressive initial bite, they often lose effectiveness quickly and can leave deep, erratic scratches. Abraprime maintains usable cutting power far longer, producing a cleaner, flatter scratch pattern that reduces refinement time and saves belts overall.

On prefinished flooring, Abraprime frequently outlasts and outperforms ceramic belts, flattening tough finishes efficiently without the scratch chaos ceramics can introduce. Combined with a heavy-duty cloth backing and waved seam construction, these belts track flat under pressure, resist heat buildup, and hold up to real production sanding.

If you measure abrasives by square footage per belt, not marketing claims, Abraprime consistently comes out on top.

WHEN TO USE IT

•Any finish removal where maximum belt life is critical

•Prefinished flooring and hard factory aluminum-oxide finishes

•Aggressive first-cut sanding with extended run time

•Flattening and leveling uneven floors

•Contractors who want ceramic-level aggression with better control and longevity

WHEN NOT TO USE IT

•Extreme glue-down or thick paint removal requiring maximum ceramic bite

•Wet or gummy coatings better suited to open-coat silicon carbide

•Ultra-fine final sanding passes before screens or mesh

•Situations where lowest-cost disposable belts are the priority

DUSTIN’S NOTES

These last longer than anything else I run — on raw wood, stain jobs, or prefinished floors. The over-clocked grain just keeps cutting when other belts are done.

If you care about how many square feet you actually sand per belt, Abraprime wins.
