Description
Starcke Blue Zirconium Sanding Discs – 6″ Hook & Loop (No Hole)
These are the discs we reach for when we want ceramic-level performance without ceramic-level cost.
Starcke Blue Zirconium sanding discs are German-made, high-performance abrasives that consistently outperform low-quality zirconium products on the market. While other brands have diluted zirconium’s reputation, Starcke continues to show how strong this mineral really is.
Many contractors directly compare these discs to Norton Red Heat ceramic aluminum oxide, often noting that Starcke Blue runs longer and cuts more consistently—at a fraction of the cost.
The discs use premium zirconium grains, evenly coated through advanced German manufacturing processes. Paired with a thick yet flexible hook & loop backing, they resist tearing, run cooler, and dissipate heat effectively—making them ideal for aggressive stock removal and extended sanding life.
Built for hardwood flooring professionals who value durability, speed, and predictable results.

Dustin’s Notes
A lot of zirconium abrasives on the market give the mineral a bad name. Starcke Blue doesn’t. It cuts hard, lasts longer than expected, and stays consistent enough that I don’t feel like I’m gambling every time I load a disc. If you like Red Heat but hate the price, this is the easy alternative.
