Rubio Monocoat Pre-Color Easy
This is the precolor we reach for when even, controlled color matters more than reacting to the wood.
Rubio Monocoat Pre-Color Easy is a water-based precolor designed to create uniform, predictable color on raw wood before finishing with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C. It eliminates blotching, lap marks, and uneven absorption that commonly occur on difficult or mixed species.
Pre-Color Easy does not provide protection on its own. It is strictly a color-control step and must be locked in with Oil Plus 2C to complete the system. Used correctly, it allows contractors and designers to achieve repeatable color results without fighting the wood.

Pre-Color Easy is not a finish and not a standalone product.
It must be followed by Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C to provide protection and durability.

Pre-Color Easy is about control. If consistency is the goal, this is the right product. But it only works as part of the full Rubio system. Always follow with Oil Plus 2C, always allow proper dry time, and always sample first. Rushing or skipping the oil is the fastest way to fail.
