DuraSeal Wood Putty is a non-hardening, color-matched repair putty designed specifically for finished wood surfaces where sanding or recoating is not an option. It is ideal for prefinished hardwood flooring, factory-finished trim, stair parts, and touch-up work after installation.
Unlike waterbased fillers or trowel fills, this putty remains workable and flexible, allowing it to move slightly with the wood instead of cracking or popping out. It presses easily into nail holes, small gaps, and surface defects, then wipes clean without smearing or disturbing the surrounding finish.
This is a true post-finish repair product, not a sand-in filler. It is applied after stain and finish are complete and requires no drying time, no sanding, and no topcoating.
