DuraSeal Trowelable Wood Filler is a water-based, full-floor filler designed to flow easily under a trowel and sand clean without loading paper. It spreads smoothly across the surface, packs joints and nail holes efficiently, and dries fast enough to keep production moving.
Once dry, it sands predictably and quickly, making final sanding easier and more consistent. The filler accepts stain similarly to real wood, helping repairs blend naturally instead of flashing or washing out under color.
This is a pre-finish filler only, intended for bare, unfinished hardwood floors prior to staining and coating.

This is my go-to when I want the filler step to disappear from the day. It spreads easy, dries fast, and sands without fighting you. The biggest mistake is overworking it or trying to use it after finish — this is a sand-in filler, not a touch-up product. Use it where it belongs and it saves serious time.
