Bona NaturalSeal Waterborne Sealer – 1 Gallon

This is the sealer we reach for when the goal is a fresh sanded, raw wood look with minimal risk.

Bona NaturalSeal is a lightly pigmented waterborne sealer designed to counteract the natural darkening that occurs with waterborne finishes. A controlled amount of white pigment keeps floors looking clean, light, and modern without pushing into heavy Nordic whitening or an opaque appearance.

NaturalSeal is the most forgiving raw-look sealer in the Bona lineup. It levels easily, applies predictably, and performs well across oak, maple, and mixed-species floors where color control and consistency matter.

Same-day shipping • Freeze protection included • Local pickup available in Saint Paul, MN

Why contractors use NaturalSeal

  • Maintains a freshly sanded, natural wood appearance

  • Light neutral white counters water darkening

  • No chalky or opaque haze

  • Extremely forgiving application

  • Consistent results on oak, maple, and mixed species floors

Best used for

  • Clients wanting a raw or unfinished wood look

  • Light, modern interiors

  • Floors where heavy whitening is not desired

  • Jobs where low risk and repeatability matter

Dustin’s Notes

NaturalSeal contains just enough white pigment to neutralize darkening without getting chalky. This is my go-to recommendation when contractors want a fresh sanded wood look with minimal risk and predictable results.
